On the Astoria Argenta espresso machine you will find the standard brewing group of Astoria CMA, this is a solenoid valve operated brewing group.
This brewing group is attached to boiler flange with 4 bolts. In the back of this flange a tube can be screwed into to get the water from the heat exchanger (HX) tube.
With this group head you have the main body, this is where the solenoid valve and wire mesh filter are installed. And the other part is the portafilter assembly. This section is made out of the portafilter coupling ring, portafilter gasket, shower holder and the shower screen. On this group head you have a portafilter gasket with a outer diameter of 72mm and a inner diameter of 56mm.
On this brewing group the standard model of portafilter is used, which has a ear orientation of 45 degree and ear thickness of 6mm.You can not use the smaller model of portafilter on this group head.
