The heating elements on Wega espresso machines are solely used on commercial espresso machines and not domestic ones. The Wega brand is part of Astoria CMA, so you will also see resemblances between the brands. The heating elements used on Wega espresso machines can be divided into 3 models.

The most common model is the heating element with the oval shape of heating element. This element has a flange which is 95mm with 57mm and the distance between the holes is 75mm. This element is sealed with a flat gasket with a outer diameter of 57mm and a inner diameter of 43mm. You will find this model of heating element on the Wega Airy, Wega Atlas, Wega Espressa, Wega Nova, Wega Polaris, Wega Sphera and the Wega Concept.

The next model is the heating element which threads into the boiler itself. The outer diameter is a 1”1/4. To seal off this heating element you use a flat gasket which has a outer diameter of 53mm and a inner diameter of 42-43mm. This element is used on Wega models such as the Wega Concept, Wega Orion and the Wega Start.

The least used heating element is the cartridge heating element. This type of heating element is used to keep the temperature of the brewing group at a fixed temperature. You will find this type of heating element on the Wega Concept, Wega IO and the Wega My concept.
