We would not advice to do so, seen the capacity is too little to proper function in a bar or a restaurant. For a small office this espresso machine would be a good solution, as well as the use in a kitchen.
Well this does depend on how old your Bezzera BZ10 is. Seen you have 2 model versions. There is a pre- 26-06-2010 and a post 27-05-2010 version. The older type is in it’s original configuration isn’t available anymore, for this is a relay rebuild kit available which is the same as the new model.
They are both operated with a Ma-ter pressure switch with is fitted with a safety valve and with a relay. The older ones had a build on relay, but the latest ones have a separate relay.
This model of Bezzera espresso machine is fitted with a solenoid operated Bezzera ring brewing group, so it hasn’t been fitted with a E61 style of brewing group.
The Bezzera BZ10 espresso machine is fitted with a water tank, from this tank the water is pumped, with a Ulka vibration pump, towards the brewing group and into the boiler. So you won’t be able to fit a main water connection to this espresso machine.
The Bezzera BZ10 has been fitted with a double scale pressure gauge, or manometer. So you will see 2 needles, one is for the pump pressure and the other is for the boiler pressure. The boiler pressure goes from 0 up to 3 bar and the pump pressure goes from 0 up to 16 bar.

Bezzera BZ10 versions and production changes
The BZ10 has been produced over a long period and not every machine uses exactly the same components. Bezzera's spare-parts documentation separates different parts and assemblies according to production date.
Examples of documented changes occur around March 2013, January 2014, December 2015 and January 2020. These dates should not be treated as one universal break point for the complete machine: the hydraulic circuit, steam and water system, bodywork, brewing group and other assemblies can each have their own revision period.
For this reason, avoid selecting an electrical, hydraulic or group component only because it is described as a BZ10 part. Where several versions exist, compare the machine's production period with the OEM reference in the parts diagram or on the original component.
Bezzera BZ10 brewing group parts
The BZ10 does not use a conventional E61 lever group. It uses a solenoid-operated Bezzera brewing group. The group is actively heated by cartridge heating elements and its temperature is controlled separately from the main boiler.
This distinction is important because E61 components should not automatically be assumed to fit the BZ10. Group parts can include the group body, heating cartridges, seals, shower holder, shower screen, solenoid components and related fittings.
Bezzera also revised parts of the BZ10 group during production. Always compare the OEM number and production version when replacing a group seal or internal group component.

Bezzera BZ10 portafilter and group seal
The BZ10 uses a portafilter designed for the Bezzera brewing group rather than a standard E61 portafilter. The BZ10 portafilter has approximately 45-degree ear orientation with 5.5 mm ears. This differs from the geometry commonly found on E61-style portafilters.
Do not choose a replacement portafilter only by basket diameter or external appearance. Ear orientation, ear thickness and locking geometry must match the BZ10 group. Suitable replacement and related components can also be found in our portafilter category.
The group sealing arrangement has also changed during BZ10 production. Depending on the production period, different Bezzera gasket or O-ring references can be shown in the official parts documentation. Identify the correct seal from the machine version and OEM reference instead of assuming that one BZ10 group gasket fits every production year.
BZ10 water tank and vibration pump
The Bezzera BZ10 uses an internal 3 litre water tank and a vibration pump rather than a standard direct mains-water connection. The pump supplies water to the brewing and boiler circuits through the machine's hydraulic system.
Replacement components can include the water tank, tank filter, vibration pump, pump mounts, hoses, fittings, valves and water inlet components. When replacing a pump, check the supply voltage, connection sizes and original pump specification.

Heat-exchanger boiler and heating parts
The BZ10 is a single-boiler heat-exchanger (HX) espresso machine. The main boiler has a capacity of approximately 1.5 litres and provides the heat required for steam, hot water and the heat-exchanger system used for coffee preparation.
Depending on voltage and production version, boiler components can include different heating elements, seals, thermostats, fittings, safety devices and complete boiler assemblies. Heating elements must be selected using voltage, wattage, dimensions, mounting and OEM reference.

Pressure control and pressure gauge
The BZ10 uses boiler-pressure control rather than PID control of the main HX boiler. Depending on the machine version, pressure-control components and their references can differ.
When replacing a pressure switch, verify the connection, pressure range and OEM reference. The BZ10 also uses a dual-scale pressure gauge that allows boiler pressure and pump pressure to be monitored from the same instrument.
Solenoid valves and hydraulic components
Solenoid valves are used in the BZ10 brewing and water circuits. The brewing group itself is solenoid operated, and other electrically operated valves can be present elsewhere in the hydraulic system depending on the production version.
For a replacement solenoid valve, check the number of ways, connection type, coil voltage and Bezzera OEM reference. Earlier and later BZ10 hydraulic assemblies can use different valves or fittings, so appearance alone is not sufficient for identification.
Steam and hot-water valve parts
The BZ10 steam and hot-water assemblies contain several separately replaceable components. Depending on the production period, these can include valve bodies, shafts, springs, PTFE seals, EPDM seals, O-rings, steam tips and water-outlet parts.
A leaking steam or water valve therefore does not always require a complete valve replacement. First determine where the leak originates and compare the internal component with the correct BZ10 parts diagram.

Electrical and safety components
The BZ10 electrical system includes components for the pump, boiler heating, group heating, thermostatic control, water level and safety functions. Electrical parts can differ according to voltage and production version.
Bezzera supplied the BZ10 for different electrical markets, including 110–120 V and 220–240 V versions. Never select a heating element, thermostat, solenoid coil or other electrical component without checking the voltage of the machine and the original part reference.
Original and compatible Bezzera BZ10 parts
This category can contain both original/OEM Bezzera parts and compatible replacement components. It can also contain supplier-made parts such as pumps, valves, switches, seals and fittings when these are technically suitable for the BZ10.
A component does not have to be manufactured exclusively for Bezzera to be a correct BZ10 replacement. At the same time, a generic espresso-machine part should never be assumed to fit simply because its dimensions appear similar. Model application, OEM cross-reference and technical specification remain leading.
Maintaining the Bezzera BZ10
Common service work on the BZ10 includes cleaning the brewing group, replacing worn group and valve seals, checking the shower screen and portafilter fit, inspecting the water tank and filter and maintaining the steam system.
Water quality also has a major influence on boiler, valve and heating-system condition. The correct maintenance interval depends on water hardness, machine use and treatment method, so there is no single descaling interval that is suitable for every BZ10.
How to identify the correct BZ10 spare part
For the most reliable identification, start with the Bezzera BZ10 model designation, production period and OEM part number. Then compare the specifications that matter for the type of component:
- Group parts: production version, dimensions and OEM reference.
- Portafilters and seals: locking geometry, dimensions and group version.
- Heating parts: voltage, wattage, dimensions and mounting.
- Valves: function, connections, number of ways and coil voltage.
- Pumps: voltage, inlet/outlet connection and pump type.
- Electrical parts: voltage, connectors and OEM reference.
