The most common sizes on espresso machines remain the BSP-G thread sizes, but you do see also metric sizes with a fine pitch.
Brass nuts can be found from sizes from 1/8”BSP-G threads all the way up to 1/2”BSP-G. These half nuts can also be found with a smaller or bigger key size, this does sometimes make the difference if the nut fits or not.
