History of Bezzera dal 1901
The Bezzera company is the oldest espresso machine manufacturer, founded in 1901 by Luigi Bezzera. Espresso machines during that time looked very different from the ones we know today, with vertical designs and no pumps. Lever-operated espresso machines emerged before World War II, and Faema's invention of the pump in the 1960s was later adopted by Bezzera, although they still kept the traditional lever groups.
Bezzera Espresso Machine Models
Bezzera has created a wide variety of espresso machine models, both for home and commercial use.
Bezzera Magica
The Bezzera Magica is a popular domestic espresso machine featuring a horizontal heat exchanger (HX) boiler and an E61-style brewing group, which is widely used in many coffee machine brands. Its temperature can be controlled, making it a versatile choice for home baristas.
Bezzera Mitica
The Bezzera Mitica is another well-known domestic espresso machine, compact yet equipped with features often found in commercial models. Its popularity is due to its high-quality performance and user-friendly design.
Bezzera Strega
The Bezzera Strega stands out as a lever-operated espresso machine. Lever-operated machines use a spring in the group to generate brewing pressure. This model is challenging to operate initially, but with practice, it provides a traditional espresso-making experience.
Bezzera Coffee Grinders
Although Bezzera is primarily known for its espresso machines, the company also offers a range of coffee grinders, mainly for domestic use.
Bezzera Sirio Q
The Bezzera Sirio Q is an on-demand coffee grinder equipped with flat grinding burrs. Suitable for both espresso and filter coffee, it’s perfect for home use but may not meet the demands of a busy bar.
Bezzera M80
The Bezzera M80 is a small coffee grinder, ideal for small bars or domestic use. It comes in doser and on-demand versions, with options for 110V and 230V single-phase power, available in black, red, and white colors.
