How to find the correct HoReCa spare part
Professional catering equipment contains mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, gas and refrigeration components. Many parts can look similar while using different dimensions, connections or electrical specifications. Start with the information you already have and narrow the assortment using the category and manufacturer filters.
Where available, a useful identification order is OEM or component reference → manufacturer → exact machine and model → version or production period → component type → technical specification → OEM/original or compatible → product.
For components that are used across different machine brands, the component manufacturer's own reference and technical interface can be more useful than the equipment brand alone.
Filter HoReCa parts by category
Use the Categories filter when you already know the equipment type or the type of component that needs to be replaced. Brooks Parts groups both complete equipment applications and technical component families within the HoReCa assortment.
- Dishwasher parts for commercial dishwashers and glasswashers;
- Fryer parts for professional frying equipment;
- Refrigeration parts for refrigeration circuit components;
- Slicer parts for professional slicing machines;
- Pizza equipment parts for pizza preparation and cooking equipment;
- Electrical components including thermostats, relays, switches, capacitors and related parts;
- Heating elements for professional catering equipment;
- Gas components for professional gas-fired equipment;
- Pumps and motors for different HoReCa applications;
- Solenoid valves for water, steam and other specified applications;
- Door gaskets and door handles, locks and springs;
- Commercial faucets and related pre-rinse components;
- Vending machine parts for professional vending equipment.
The category is the first refinement step. Within a category, continue comparing the specifications that determine compatibility for that particular component.
Filter by manufacturer
Use Shop by Manufacturer when the machine or component brand is known. This can quickly narrow the product range, especially when the exact machine model or manufacturer reference is also available.
The manufacturer selection can include both equipment manufacturers and specialist component manufacturers. These are not always the same thing. A professional oven, dishwasher or coffee machine can contain components produced by a separate electrical, pump, valve, motor or refrigeration manufacturer.
For this reason, a brand match alone does not prove compatibility. After filtering by manufacturer, verify the OEM or component reference, exact machine model and the relevant technical specifications.
Select by exact machine and model
For machine-specific spare parts, first identify the manufacturer and exact model. Where different revisions or production periods exist, the machine version can also determine which replacement part is required.
This is especially important for parts such as heating elements, door components, pumps, electronic controls and complete assemblies. Two parts intended for machines from the same manufacturer can still differ in voltage, dimensions, mounting points, connections or production version.
Electrical HoReCa components
When selecting electrical components, verify the complete electrical and mechanical specification. Depending on the component this can include voltage, frequency, current, power, contact configuration, probe type, shaft or mounting dimensions and connector layout.
Do not select an electrical replacement from voltage alone. Components with the same supply voltage can perform different functions or use different electrical and mechanical interfaces.
Heating elements
For HoReCa heating elements, compare the OEM reference and machine application together with voltage, wattage, phase configuration, element shape, immersion depth, flange dimensions, mounting arrangement and electrical connections where these are stated.
Matching wattage alone does not make two heating elements interchangeable.
Pumps, motors and solenoid valves
For pumps and motors, relevant specifications can include voltage, frequency, power, rotation, mounting system, shaft dimensions and hydraulic connections.
For solenoid valves, first determine whether the complete valve or only a separate coil or other component is required. Then check valve series, connection type, operating configuration and electrical specifications.
Gas and refrigeration components
Gas and refrigeration parts require their own technical selection criteria. For gas components, use the exact component type, manufacturer reference, connection and operating specification stated for the product.
For refrigeration-system parts, use the dedicated Refrigeration Parts section. Components such as filter driers, fittings and refrigeration solenoid valves should be selected by their component reference and complete refrigeration interface rather than from appearance or nominal size alone.
Door and cabinet components
For door gaskets, verify the exact machine application, gasket construction, overall dimensions, profile and mounting method. Similar outside dimensions do not necessarily indicate the same gasket.
For door handles, locks and springs, check the machine model, component type, left/right orientation, mounting geometry and any relevant spring or electrical specifications.
Coffee equipment spare parts
Some components used in professional coffee equipment are also found elsewhere in the broader HoReCa assortment. For a more focused coffee-machine structure, use the dedicated Espresso Machine Parts section. It groups parts such as brewing-group components, boilers, portafilters, pumps, valves, electrical parts, fittings and gaskets specifically around espresso-machine applications.
For bean grinders and espresso grinders, use Coffee Grinder Parts. Grinder compatibility can depend on the exact brand and model as well as burr dimensions, rotation direction, motor configuration, doser/on-demand design and other component-specific specifications.
For automatic coffee and other vending systems, browse Vending Machine Parts. This keeps espresso machines, coffee grinders, vending equipment and the wider HoReCa assortment connected while preserving a dedicated selection route for each equipment type.
Equipment manufacturer and component manufacturer
The brand of the machine and the manufacturer of the installed component can be different. A machine from one manufacturer may use a pump, motor, thermostat, valve, capacitor or refrigeration component made by another specialist manufacturer.
Where this information is available, distinguish the equipment manufacturer → exact machine/model → actual component manufacturer → component reference → technical specification.
OEM/original and compatible spare parts
Brooks Parts carries both OEM/original parts and compatible replacements. The origin of the replacement and its application should be treated as separate information.
A compatible part should not be interpreted as having been manufactured by the equipment brand simply because an OEM reference or machine brand is listed for compatibility. For either origin, always verify the complete application and technical specification before ordering.
Before ordering a HoReCa spare part
Use the available category and manufacturer filters to narrow the assortment, then verify the reference, exact machine or component series and the specifications relevant to that part.
