Some Astoria espresso machine boilers have a removable flange, like the Astoria Divina, Astoria Gloria and the Astoria Perla. But some models like the Astoria Plus 4 you have fully closed boilers, off course a hole for the heating element.
But the espresso machines of Astoria have a lot of similarities. They are all fitted with a heating element, safety valve, vacuum valve, level probe and a pressure switch. In some cases you will find a temperature probe in the heating element
