San Remo - Brewing group

The espresso machine brand San Remo uses a variety of brewing groups on their espresso machine. Most of these group have their origin with the Faema E61 brewing group. There are in total 3 type of brewing groups used on San Remo espresso machines.

The first model of brewing group is the manual E61 style of brewing group. This type of brewing group originates from the Faema E61 brewing groups. The San Remo brewing groups do use different internal components then the Faema versions. This type of brewing group can be found on the San Remo Treviso LX espresso machines.

The next model is the solenoid operated e61 style of brewing group. This brewing group is operated with a touchpanel or push button to activate the solenoid valve and pump. The solenoid valve closes and the brewing process starts. This type of brewing group can be found on the San Remo Firenze, San Remo Milano, San Remo Roma, San Remo Verona. Note: they can have different configurations, you do need to check the spare parts manual for the correct parts.

The last type of brewing group is the solenoid valve operated ring brewing group. This model of brewing group is quite common with a variety of espresso machine brands such as Grimac, ECM, Rocket and BFC. The principle of this group is the same as the E61 solenoid valve operated brewing group. You will find this type of group on the San Remo Amalfi, San Remo Capri, San Remo Venezia and the San Remo Zoe.
