Every espresso machine uses a type of heating element. This is also the case with the San Remo brand. This brand uses a variety of heating elements, from submerged boiler heating elements to brewing group elements. There are in total 3 types of heating elements.
The first model is the most common type. This is a heating element which is screwed into the boiler. The flange has a diameter of 1”1/4 and is sealed with a flat gasket with a outer diameter of 57mm and a inner diameter of 43mm. This type of element can be found on the San Remo Café Racer, San Remo Opera, San Remo F18, San Remo Verona, San Remo Capri, San Remo Milano, San Remo Venezia and the San Remo Zoe.
A less common type of heating element is the bolt true heating element. This model is used on the brewing group boilers and on regular boilers. The brewing group boilers can be found on the San Remo Café Racer and the San Remo Opera. The bolt true models on normal boilers can be found on the San Remo Roma and the San Remo Verona.
Finally you have the cartridge heating elements. This model of heating element is not in contact with water and is used to keep the brewing group up to temperature. This is solely found on the more high end models like the San Remo Opera, San Remo F18, San Remo Verde and the San Remo Verona RS.
