San Remo - pressure switch
Most traditional espresso machines use a pressure switch to control the pressure inside the espresso machine boiler. This is also the case with the espresso machines made by San Remo. The San Remo brand uses 2 types of pressure switch on their espresso machines.
The first model is the Asco (Sirai) 3 pole P302/6 pressure switch. This pressure switch is one of the most used model of pressure switches used on any espresso machine. You will find it on the San Remo Amalfi, San Remo Capri, San Remo Firenze, San Remo Pisa, San Remo Verona and the San Remo Zoe.
Then you have the Ma-ter XP700 pressure switch. This switch is fitted with a safety valve in the same assembly. This is not a common model of pressure switch with San Remo espresso machines. It is used on the San Remo Treviso LX espresso machines.
