Sanremo espresso machine parts

Find spare parts for professional and domestic Sanremo espresso machines, including the Amalfi, Café Racer, Capri, Cube, F18, Milano, Opera, Roma, Venezia, Verona, YOU and Zoe.

The Sanremo range covers many generations of espresso machines, and the technical construction differs considerably between models. Depending on the machine, you may encounter different brewing groups, heat-exchanger or multi-boiler systems, rotary or vibration pumps, volumetric dosing, electronic temperature control and different steam and water assemblies. Always identify the exact model and version before selecting a spare part.

Our Sanremo assortment contains original/OEM parts as well as compatible replacement components. Some technically correct Sanremo parts are also shared with other espresso machine brands or produced by specialist suppliers. This is common for components such as pumps, solenoid valves, pressure switches, fittings, seals and certain brewing-group parts. Compatibility should therefore be checked using the Sanremo OEM reference, machine model, dimensions and technical specification.

You can also browse directly by component type, including group gaskets, shower screens, portafilters, pumps, heating elements, solenoid valves and steam valves.

Sanremo espresso machine models

Select the dedicated model category where available. A model page combines parts specifically assigned to that machine with shared components that are technically suitable for the model.

The main Sanremo assortment also contains parts assigned to models and versions such as Pisa, Torino, Treviso, Treviso LX, Verona RS, Zoe Compact and F18-SB. If your machine does not yet have a dedicated model category, use the Sanremo model filter and the OEM references on the product pages.

Identify the exact Sanremo model and version

The model name is the first step when identifying a Sanremo spare part, but it is not always sufficient. Different versions within the same model family can use different brewing-group components, boiler systems, valves, electronics or dosing controls.

This is particularly important with machines that exist in different group counts or technical configurations. A component used on one version of a Verona, Zoe or F18 should not automatically be assumed to fit every machine with the same family name.

Where possible, compare the original Sanremo part number with the replacement part. For mechanical components also check dimensions, threads and mounting; for electrical components verify voltage, wattage and connector type.

Sanremo brewing groups and group parts

Sanremo has used several different brewing-group designs across its machine range. Some traditional models use E61-style or related solenoid-operated group designs, while other machines use ring groups or newer model-specific group assemblies.

This means that the words Sanremo group part do not describe one universal system. A gasket, shower screen, diffuser, valve or other group component that fits one Sanremo model may be completely different from the part required for another.

For example, traditional models such as the Milano and Roma use different group architecture from machines such as the Zoe, while high-performance machines such as the Opera and Café Racer use their own more complex brewing and temperature-control systems.

Group gaskets, shower screens and portafilters

Frequently replaced group components include group and portafilter gaskets, O-rings, valve seals, springs, diffusers and shower screens.

Group gaskets should be selected by outside diameter, inside diameter, thickness, shape and model application. Sanremo uses several gasket dimensions and designs, so a common 73 mm gasket is not automatically correct simply because it physically resembles the existing seal.

The same applies to portafilters. Check locking geometry, ear position and ear thickness as well as the filter-basket diameter. Different Sanremo brewing groups can use different portafilter configurations.

Shared E61-style and supplier-made group components

Some Sanremo machines use components associated with E61-style brewing groups. These parts can also occur on espresso machines from other manufacturers. A gasket or valve component can therefore be a correct Sanremo spare part even when another espresso-machine brand is also listed on the product page.

This does not mean that every E61-style component is suitable for every Sanremo machine. There are differences between group designs and versions. Always verify the model application, OEM cross-reference and dimensions before ordering.

Boilers, heat exchangers and heating elements

Sanremo has used different boiler architectures across its espresso machine range. Traditional commercial machines can use a heat-exchanger system, while more advanced models can use separate brewing-group or multi-boiler temperature systems.

Replacement boiler components can include complete boilers, heat exchangers, heating elements, heating-element gaskets, temperature probes, thermostats, safety valves and fittings.

Heating elements must be matched by voltage, wattage, immersed length, flange or thread dimensions and machine application. Do not substitute an element only because the mounting appears similar.

Pumps and water supply

The pump and water-supply configuration depends on the Sanremo model. Commercial machines commonly use a mains-water system with a motor and rotary pump, while some smaller or domestic machines can use different water-supply arrangements.

When replacing a pump or pump motor, check pump type, rotation, mounting, connection sizes, voltage and the original specification.

The hydraulic system can also contain expansion valves, non-return valves, flow-control components, braided hoses, fittings and water-inlet parts. These components should be matched by function as well as physical size.

Solenoid valves and hydraulic control

Solenoid valves are used for brewing groups, boiler filling, water circuits and other hydraulic functions. Sanremo machines can use different two-way and three-way valve configurations depending on model and application.

Check the valve function, connection or flange type, number of ways, orifice where relevant and coil voltage. Supplier-made valves from companies such as Parker, ODE or similar manufacturers can be correct replacement parts when their specification matches the Sanremo application.

Steam and hot-water valve parts

Sanremo steam and hot-water assemblies contain service components such as valve shafts, seals, O-rings, springs, handles, steam tubes and complete steam valves.

A leaking steam or water valve does not always require replacement of the complete assembly. Internal seals, valve shafts and O-rings are often available separately. Compare the valve construction and Sanremo reference before ordering individual repair parts.

Flowmeters, volumetric dosing and electronic controls

Many professional Sanremo machines use volumetric dosing. In these systems, flowmeters send information to the machine's electronic controls so that programmed beverage volumes can be managed automatically.

Depending on the machine generation, electrical parts can include flowmeters, dosing units, control boards, touch panels, displays, temperature probes, level controls, power supplies, switches, SSRs and PID components.

Electronic components are especially version-sensitive. A visually similar control board, touch panel or power supply should not be considered interchangeable without comparing the Sanremo reference, voltage, connectors and machine version.

Related components can also be found under espresso machine dosing devices.

Original, compatible and shared Sanremo spare parts

The Sanremo assortment can contain original/OEM parts, compatible replacements and components produced by the same specialist suppliers used across the professional espresso-machine industry.

Shared components are normal. Pumps, solenoid valves, pressure switches, O-rings, fittings and certain group components can correctly have applications on several brands. A product should therefore not be excluded from Sanremo simply because another manufacturer appears in its compatibility list.

At the same time, shared does not mean universal. The Sanremo model, OEM cross-reference, dimensions and technical specification should confirm the application.

Maintaining a Sanremo espresso machine

Regular service parts include group gaskets, shower screens, valve seals, O-rings, pump components and water-system seals. Keeping these wear parts in good condition can help prevent leaks and inconsistent machine operation.

Water quality is particularly important for boiler, heating and valve components. Maintenance and descaling requirements depend on the water hardness, treatment system, machine design and level of use rather than on one fixed interval for every Sanremo machine.

Can't find the Sanremo part you need?

Start with the exact Sanremo model, machine version and OEM part number. If an OEM number is not available, compare dimensions, threads, electrical ratings, connector types and the function of the original component.

For models such as Pisa, Torino, Treviso, Treviso LX, Verona RS or Zoe Compact that do not currently have a separate model category, use the Sanremo model filter on this page to narrow the product selection.

You can also consult our parts manuals and support section when additional information is needed to identify the correct replacement part.
