La Cimbali M39 - Boiler
The boilers used on La Cimbali espresso machines have a boiler flange, this flange is sealed off with a boiler gasket which is 180x140mm and has 6 holes. The heating elements used on the Cimbali M39 espresso machines range from 3750/4500W for the 2 group espresso machines up to 5790/7020W for the 3-4 brewing group boilers. Inside the heating element is a spare tube for the thermostat, in case the heating element becomes too warm.
On top of the boiler you will find the boiler safety valve. This valve can be made up out of 2 types, with different part numbers. Once the safety valve opens there is a protective rubber sleeve over it to catch the boiler water. Next to this safety valve you will find the level probe, this probe has a 1/8” thread instead of the normal ¼”.
