The electrical components used on a San Marco 85 espresso machine depend on what kind of model it is. Seen one model requires more electrical components then the other. In the case of the SM 85 you have the S and the E version. The SM 85 S is the non volumetric version and the SM 85 E is the volumetric model.
So with the S model you will have a level probe, level regulator, brewing switch and a main power switch. With this model you can only start and stop the brewing process manually.
Where you have the E version, the volumetric one, you can use pre-set coffee types by pushing one of the keys on the push button panel. For this model you require a lot more electronic components like a push button panel, dosing device (which is also the level regulator) level probe and a flowmeter. To measure the amount of water going true the brewing group.
