On the Spaziale S5 espresso machines there is a basic brewing group, the standard brewing head used on almost every Spaziale espresso machine. But there are some abbreviations between the models.
There are 2 categories. The first group is the brewing group used on the EP and EK models which have 2 up to 4 brewing groups. The other one is are the brewing groups on the 1 group S5 and the S5 compact espresso machines.,
The brewing groups on the Spaziale S5 are made up out of 2 components. 1 is the brewing group boiler, the other one is the brewing group head. The brewing group boiler is not fitted with a additional heating element, which is the case with some Spaziale espresso machines.
The brewing group head itself is where the solenoid valve is located, on the right or left side. Depends on the model. This model uses a portafilter gasket with a outer diameter of 64mm and a inner diameter of 52mm. The Spaziale brewing group is fitted with a double shower screen, this is the only brand which uses this system. On this brewing group you can use the standard La Spaziale portafilter, seen Spaziale only uses 1 model.
