Rancilio - Inlet valve
The water inlet valve on a espresso machine is the place where the water comes in and get’s distributed to the brewing groups and to the boiler. This type of distribution can be found on a variety of Rancilio espresso machines. Over the time they have used a variety of water inlet valves.
The earliest models where completely manual valves, they where operated by hand, these can be found on Rancilio models such as the Rancilio Z11, Rancilio S20, Rancilio millennium. But also on later models such as the Rancilio Classe 10 espresso machines.
With the more modern Rancilio espresso machines you have a solenoid valve operated distribution block. This block can be found on espresso machine models such as the Rancilio Classe 5, Rancilio Classe 7, Rancilio Classe 10, Rancilio Classe 11 and the Rancilio Classe 9.
