The manometer is one of the handy tools installed on a espresso machine. You will also find them on domestic and commercial espresso machine models of the brand Vibiemme. The pressure gauges used on the Vibiemme espresso machine models are in the past mainly double pressure gauges and nowadays they are single ones.
The double pressure gauges had a pump and a boiler gauge, the pump gauge goes from 0 up to 15/16 bar and the boiler valve goes from 0 up to 2,5 bar. The fitting on the back is a 1/8”BSP-G thread.
The VBM single pressure gauges are almost all fitted with a capillary(the copper tubing on the back. They range also from 0 to 2,5/4 bar for boiler manometers and for the pump pressure gauges from 0 up to 16 bar. You do see that the pressure gauges which are used on domestic espresso machines, like the Vibiemme Domobar, are smaller then the pressure gauges used on commercial models such as the VBM Lollo and the VBM Replica.
