Casadio shower screen

The espresso machines of Casadio use a variety of shower screens, 2 in total. Where as the first model original originates with the brand Faema and the other one with La Cimbali.

The first model of shower screen is a friction fit, it is held in place with the portafilter gasket. This is the model which originates with Faema. These shower screens have a perforated sheet of stainless and a stainless steel wire mesh over it. You can find this type of shower screen on the Casadio Dafne, Casadio Dieci and the Casadio Undici.

The next model is held in place with a screw, this model originates with La Cimbali. And has a outer diameter of 51,5mm, the shower only has a stainless steel wire mesh with a backing. This type of shower screen is only sued on the Casadio Venti espresso machine.

For these shower screens are also precision/competition versions available made by the Italian company IMS filtri.
