Faema E98 President - Steam valve

The steam valve used on the Faema E98 President espresso machines is not a really common type of valve on Faema espresso machines. This type of manual valve is mainly used on La Cimbali espresso machines.

The steam valve on the E98 president can be found on the left and right side of the espresso machine, on the A and the S version. To open the steam valve you need to turn counter clockwise and if you want to close the valve you need to turn the knob clockwise.

The steam pipe itself is made with a swivel joint. So you can turn the steam tube 360 degree and leave it in it’s original position, but it will be sealed off anyways.
