The Astoria CMA brand uses a variety of heating element types in their espresso machines, this can be in the brewing group, steam boiler or coffee boiler. There are in total 3 flange types. Threaded, oval and square. The heating elements on the brewing groups are cartridge elements.
The threaded flange has a diameter of 1 ¼”and ranges around the 1000-1500W. These elements can be found on 2 types of boilers. The first one is in the coffee boiler of for instance the Astoria Plus 4 you or on the boiler used on the Astoria CK and Astoria CKX espresso machines.
The most used model is the oval shape, which is 95x57mm. This heating element goes from 2000W up to 6000w and runs on 230/400V. These elements are used on espresso machine models such as the Astoria Gloria, Astoria Divina, Astoria Perla and the Astoria Pratic.
The square heating elements, has a diameter of 75mm and is less used then the oval model. This type of element is found on the boosted brewing groups used by Astoria.
Finally the cartridge heating elements are installed inside the brewing group to heat it up and keep it up to a stable temperature. This model of heating element can be found on the Astoria Plus 4 You.
