The pumps and motors used on any la Cimbali espresso machine are different then most other brands. The La Cimbali group uses their own style of flanges.
This is also the case on the Cimbali M39 Classic and the Cimbali M39 Dosatron. The motor used does not have a clamp on connection, but a bolt on connection with 2 bolts/screws. This is also visible with pumps, they have a connection for 2 or in some cases 3 screws/bolts. But if you want to connect the shaft of the motor on the Cimbali M39, you need a coupling set. This coupling set exists out of a D shape motor connection, rubber transfer bushing and a small square pump connection. This is also a thing you will find on motors of the Cimbali group.
A other feature on the La Cimbali M39 Classic and La Cimbali Dosatron espresso machines is the stainless steel filter membrane. This membrane is installed before the water enters the pump, to keep the system out of debris.
