On the San Remo Milano LX espresso machine is only 1 boiler model installed, seen it is a single boiler espresso machine. In this case size does matter in the case you have a 1,2 or a 3 group espresso machine, seen they are all different model boilers.
This coffee machine works on the principle of a Heat Exchanger(HX), each brewing group is fed with water from a tube running diagonally the boiler. This water is heated up with the heat of the hot water from the steam and water boiler.
This espresso machine can be fitted with various sizes heating elements ranging from 1950W for the single groups, up to 5100W for the 3 group versions. The 1,2 and 3 groups are all available in 120V versions.
Other components installed on the boilers on the Milano LX are parts such as safety valves, level probes, vacuum valves and various types of fittings for the HX.
