Can you place a milk pitcher in the dishwasher? insert_link

Yes you can put stainless steel milk pitchers in the dishwasher. For the painted stainless steel milk pitchers it is not adviced to put them in the dishwasher. Those need to be cleaned manually.

Barista milk jugs

The milk jug is one of the most important accessories used in a bar, restaurant, hotel and at home and every barista needs at least one of them. There is a lot of choice in milk pitchers, single or double spout, material, size, colour and so on.

Most milk jugs are made from stainless steel(SS) 304, in some cases it is SS316, which is a food grade steel and won’t rust in normal use. The volume sizes range from 0,25L all the way up 1,5L.

The surface finish on most milk jars is brushed or polished stainless steel. But can be also be coated in a variety of colours and materials, these are not as durable as a polished or brushed finish.
